Kayla has performed with companies including GEOMETRY Contemporary Dance Company, Nickerson-Rossi Dance, and Vixens Heels Company. Some of her performance credits include Disney’s D23 Expo, Juntos Collective — a nonprofit organization that uses dance to build leadership and collaboration within vulnerable communities — and the Capezio A.C.E. Awards.

Her commercial credits include Nutribullet, Skechers, and Fox Sports NFL Sunday. She has also toured with Fall Out Boy and performed in live entertainment productions for Universal Studios Hollywood and Royal Caribbean International.

In addition to performing, Kayla shares her passion for dance through teaching and creative collaboration. Most recently, she performed in the production of The Nutcracker and appeared in Echoes of Our Ancestors at the Greek Theatre, both under the direction of Ludvig Ispiryan.

Kayla Mutterer is a professional dancer based in Southern California, originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. She began her dance training at the age of two, studying with Charlotte School of Ballet and Piedmont School of Music and Dance before continuing her training with the Alonzo King LINES Ballet / Dominican University of California dance program.

She has had the opportunity to further her training at intensives including The Juilliard School, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, The Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, BODYTRAFFIC, Orsolina 28 Nunes/FLOCK Creation Program, as well as the FLOCK Winter Intensive (2023).
